Hyderabad: Irrigation minister T. Harish Rao on Friday said he had dedicated his life to the TRS and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, and so the idea of leaving the TRS did not arise even in his wildest dreams.
“My political birth was with the TRS, and my death will also be with the TRS,” he said while addressing a press conference.
Mr Rao reacted strongly to re-ports doing the rounds on social media, according to which he is planning to revolt against the Chief Minister and join the BJP, along with 40 other TRS MLAs, to topple the TRS government.
The minister said that he had already lodged a complaint with DGP Mahender Reddy. He added that the state government had also issued orders asking the DGP to book cases against the persons responsible for posting the fake reports on social media. “A news report from a regional news channel was morphed and posted as a fake message on social media. I clarified with the channel, and they denied having telecast any such report. Even media channels are being misused to circulate fake messages on social media,” he said.
