Desam, BJP fight like a couple quarrelling, says Pydikondala Manikyala Rao

He said that the Pithapuram MLA S.V.S.N Varma requested the Endowment Department to make a probe on the issue.

KAKINADA: State endowment minister Pydikondala Manikyala Rao took the controversy of budgetary allocation to the state in lighter way. He commented that the controversy is like a small dispute between a Wife and Husband and need not take seriously.

Mr Rao visited Sri Viswa Viznana Adhyathmika Peetham (VVAP) annual meetings, held by the Peetham’s seer Dr Umar Alisha at Pithapuram on Friday. He told the reporters that the controversy between the TD and the BJP was like a mild quarrle between a wife and a husband and it would be set right soon and there were no cut-off of these parties’ alliance.

He said that the Congress governments which enjoyed power for 10 years both in Central and state have ignored the development of the state. After assuming the charge at Centre, the BJP was developing rural areas vastly by laying CC Roads, Drains and development of National Highways and others and improving the infrastructure facilities in cities and also rural areas by releasing crores of funds. He said that though there was no clarity on statistics, huge funds were being floated to Andhra Pradesh, comparing to other states. He said that the Polavaram works were being expedited for completing it by 2019. He said that 10 lakh houses out of 30 lakh houses were allocated to AP.

He said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was also striving hard for development of the state and the BJP government would continue its support on hopes of the Chief Minister.

Speaking about Sripada Vallabha Maha Samsthanam issue, Mr Rao said that a committee, headed by the Regional Joint Commissioner has been appointed for making a probe on the irregularities and the utilization of funds. He said that the inquiry report would be exhibited openly for knowing the facts to the people.

He said that the Pithapuram MLA S.V.S.N Varma requested the Endowment Department to make a probe on the issue.
