Lucknow: That everything is not hunky-dory between Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his Chief Minister son Akhilesh Yadav is well-known. But now it has emerged that the family members of late have been reportedly acting as ‘messengers’ between the warring father-son duo.
Amid all the chaos, girls aged 15 and 10 have shouldered the responsibility to cool the friction between the two.
Aditi and Tina, the daughters of Akhilesh and Dimple Yadav now travel back and forth between their father and grandfather, acting as messengers, a report said.
A few days ago, Mulayam Singh had playfully told Tina that “Your father is very stubborn.” She promptly passed on this ‘complaint’ to her Chief Minister-dad, who responded with a laugh. “Yes, I am,” he told her.
Also, it has come to the fore, that Akhilesh last week returned from the airport without receiving his father when he was informed that Amar Singh was also on the plane.
