Telangana BJP to Kick Off Campaign with Jana Garjana in Adilabad

Soyam Bapu Rao told media that he would contest as an MLA from Boath

Adilabad: State BJP is all set to kick off its campaign from Adilabad with the public meeting 'Jana Garjana' to be held on October 10 here in the wake of the announcement of the schedule for the forthcoming election to the Legislative Assembly by the Election Commission of India on Monday.

Union home minister Amit Shah will attend the public meeting as the chief guest.
Adilabad BJP MP Soyam Bapu Rao, who, along with party leaders, inspected the arrangements for the meeting at the DIET College ground here, told media that he would contest as an MLA from Boath and expressed confidence in BJP forming its government in the state as the people of Telangana already decided to dislodge the BRS.

He stated that the party's high command had asked all its MPs in the five poll-bound states to contest as MLAs in the Assembly elections.

Meanwhile, BJP state general secretary Gujjula Premender Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had failed to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Telangana for the interest of his family members.

He said the ‘Jana Garjana’ would be the first BJP rally aimed at defeating the BRS after the announcement of the poll schedule. Party district president Payal Shankar and senior leaders Ch. Suhasini Reddy, Adinath, Shivaiah, Enrala Nagesh, Ritesh Rathod, Akula Parveen and Ravi were present.
