BJP national spokesperson Sayed Shanawaz Husain said there is a danger called 'Sudapi' like Hafiz Saeed's group in Pakistan.

MALAPPURAM: BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan led Janaraksha Yatra has covered Malappuram district on Sunday with a mass reception at poll-bound Vengara. Union Minister of state for power R. K. Singh inaugurated the rally at Vengara town. Mr Singh said that the state was under the threat for long and the people have now started reacting against it in public. "During my tenure in the Home and Defence ministries, we the people in the service were aware of what was going on here in Kerala. Now the people have started reacting to it. The God's own country is under the threat of terror of various hues and the people should stand against those anti-social elements," he said.

BJP national spokesperson Sayed Shanawaz Husain who addressed the rally said the gathering in Vengara was a warning to the so-called secular forces. "There is a danger called 'Sudapi' which is like Hafiz Saeed's group in Pakistan. These people are a threat not only for Kerala but for the entire India," he added.
Mr Kummanam, the leader of the Yatra who also addressed the rally said that K. Janachandran ,the BJP candidate for the Vengara assembly byelection has already won the battle by winning the hearts of people. The gathering in Vengara proved that, he added.

Addressing the Yatra at Edappal, Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra said that democracy is being slaughtered in Kerala at a time when democratic credentials of the country are widely appreciated all over the world, He alleged that street lights were put off during the rally. However, Pinarayi Vijayan can't put off the light of revolution in the heart of Keralites, he added. The Yatra entered Malappuram district through Idimuzhikkal on Sunday. Vengara which was included in the Yatra route later because of the byelection, was the first stop of the Yatra in the district.
