HYDERABAD: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka condemned the BRS leadership’s attempt to equate the Enforcement Directorate summons to party MLC K. Kavitha with an attack on Telangana self-respect. He felt that the BRS was trying to mobilise support for Kavitha by stirring up Telangana sentiments.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, he wondered how the ED notices were degrading Telangana.
“It is a fact that central agencies like CBI and ED are being used to harass opposition leaders but the liquor scam is an altogether different issue. Its investigation clearly points at Kavitha’s role in it,” he said.
Meanwhile, attacking AAP leadership, the Congress said that it was not just Manish Sisodia but the entire Delhi Cabinet who should take responsibility for the scam.
“Where is Anna Hazare who had supported Kejriwal? He should have spoken on the issue by now,” he said.
