Srikakulam MP Ticket Sought for Kalinga Community

Vijayawada: Rajya Sabha member and national BC welfare association president R Krishnaiah sought YSRC’s Srikakulam MP ticket for the Kalinga community. He held meetings with several BC and caste associations.

Krishnaiah met YSRC regional coordinator YV Subba Reddy and explained to him the political conditions and equations of north Andhra.

He urged Subba Reddy to allot the Srikakulam MP ticket to the Kalinga community and consider Dr Dumpala Venkata Ravi Kiran's candidature, also as he “has the support of SC, ST, BC and minority groups in Uttar Andhra.”

MP Krishnaiah spoke regarding the seven assembly constituencies under the Srikakulam parliament constituency. Ravi Kiran made a distinction for himself in the doctor profession and brought the problem of Uddanam to the attention of the government. He covered important grounds in solving the problems.
