Raa Kadaliraa: Akhila's Rival Subba Reddy Skips Meeting

Kurnool: Internal conflicts marred the Telugu Desam meeting in Allagadda, where party chief Nara Chandrababu naidu addressed the party cadre as part of the Raa Kadaliraa programme of the TD on Tuesday.

Senior party leader A.V. Subba Reddy, who is continuing his rivalry with former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya, skipped the crucial meeting, despite party chief's address of the event.

The longstanding family-related disputes between Akhila Priya and Subba Reddy have cast a shadow on the party electoral prospects in the region.

Reportedly, the party high command urged leaders to ensure mobilization of cadres for the event even from other constituencies, should Akhila Priya remain firm on her stand.

With Subba Reddy staying away from the Ra Kadaliraa meeting in Allagadda, adhering to party directives, the internal rivalries have left the local leaders in shock as the elections are fast approaching.

In a good show of strength, Akhila Priya demonstrated her support during the meeting.

The present problems are a continuation of the physical altercation between former minister Bhuma Akhila Priya and AV Subba Reddy during Nara Lokesh’s Yuvagalam programme in Nandyal in May. Subsequently, Akhila Priya and her husband Bhargava Ram were arrested by the police, leading to their remand.
