YSRC Would Retain Power, Claims Kodali
Vijayawada: YSR Congress MLA and former minister Kodali Venkateswara Rao claimed on Thursday that “none can defeat the ruling YSRC” in Gudivada constituency. Speaking to the media, he said the opposition Telugu Desam would lose the seat as usual.
Commenting on the celebrations by the TD after the Congress win in the Telangana state, the MLA said NTR had floated Telugu Desam Party against the Congress but the TD leaders were shamelessly celebrating a Congress victory in Hyderabad. “One disciple of TD, K Chandrasekhara Rao, lost the elections and another TD disciple won the elections and became the CM now,” he said.
The MLA said Chandrababu did not care about the welfare of the people and was always interested in the welfare of one social group -- his Kamma community. “Jagan Mohan Reddy will remain as chief minister of AP for decades as he is implementing the welfare schemes as in Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Bengal.”
The YSRC MLA said the people have witnessed what happened to the Jana Sena, who contested the polls in Telangana with BJP support. “If the Jana Sena contests this time with TD, the result will be the same in Andhra Pradesh. Chandrababu will remain in opposition,” he claimed.
