#MarpuKavaliCongressRavali: Congress third ad focuses on agrarian issues

The Telangana Congress released the third advertisement under the #MarpuKavaliCongressRavali campaign on Wednesday.

The video focuses on agrarian issues that include suicide of 8,000 farmers, failure to issue farm loan waiver, free fertiliser/urea procurement.

In the video, farmers fume at Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for failing to buy the paddy grown by them and also waive the farmers’ loans. Farmers have been ending their life by suicide unabated but the BRS government did little to stop them, the farmers said.

Another farmer lambasted KCR for corruption by him and his family and looting the people.

Meanwhile, another woman slams Rao for irregularities in the Dharani portal which resulted in their land getting registered under the BRS leaders’ names. “Now, we are working as labourers in our own land,” she said.

Immediately, KCR tries to hush up the matter asking the woman to leave the matter. The Congress has pledged to resolve the issue once it comes to power.

When the BRS leaders ask the public to vote for them, the farmers ask why should they do it and immediately, one of the car’s tyres get deflated signifying that the party has lost steam and credibility due to unkept promises.

With the tyre getting deflated, the BRS leaders are shown dragging the vehicle away from the fields.

Finally, the video ends with a slogan '10 years of arrogance should vanish and 10 years of corruption should be chased away'.
