Malla Reddy, Revanth file papers, declare assets

Hyderabad: BRS minister Ch Malla Reddy, who possesses properties to the tune of Rs 45 crore, does not have a single rupee, in terms of cash-in-hand, nor does he own a bike or car. He has one case pending against him, it was revealed.

Malla Reddy’s colleague and fellow cabinet minister Gangular Kamalakar was found to have movable and immovable properties to the tune of Rs 24 crore.

On the day, multiple candidates filed their nominations, chief among them being TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy in Kamareddy, where he will go up against Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. Revanth Reddy also submitted a no-due certificate issued by the TS Legislative Assembly and the Lok Sabha Secretary.

As per the affidavit filed by minister Ch Malla Reddy, while filing his nomination from Medchal, he has studied up to Intermediate, graduating from Raghava Laxmi Devi Government Junior College in 1973. He declared immovable assets worth Rs 41 crore and movable assets worth Rs 4.98 crore.

Minister Gangula Kamalakar, who invested in Swetha Granites, S&S Homes, and Savana Sri Software Solutions, possesses a Yamaha bike and Bharat Benz Caravan vehicle worth Rs 73 lakh. He also declared that there was no due in terms of GST or I-T. As many as six cases are pending against him.

BRS’ Khairatabad candidate Danam Nagender filed his nomination on Wednesday. He possesses movable properties worth Rs 22 crore and immovable properties worth Rs 41 crore. Nagender's family possesses diamonds worth at least Rs 4 crore, it was revealed.

Shankar Naik Banoth, who filed his nomination from Mahbubabad, stated he owns properties and six vehicles totalling Rs 12 crore.

Congress’ D. Seethakka, who filed her nomination from Mulugu, holds a PhD from Osmania University. She possesses property worth Rs 78 lakh, all immovable. As many as six cases are pending against her.

BRS leader Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy filed nominations from Munugode in Nalgonda, stating he possesses movable properties worth Rs 2.52 crore and immovable properties worth Rs 3.89 crore. He owns two JCBs and a Bolero vehicle.

V. Sunita Laxma Reddy filed nominations from Narsapur on a BRS ticket. Asset worth: Rs 3 crore

Kota Neelima is contesting from Sanathnagar on a Congress ticket. Asset worth: Rs 50 crore

Marri Shashidhar Reddy is contesting on a BJP ticket from Sanathnagar. Asset worth: Rs 43 crore

T. Padma Rao Goud is contesting from Secunderabad on a BRS ticket. Asset worth: Rs 2 crore

G. Lasya Nandini is contesting on a BRS ticket from Cantonment. Asset worth: Rs 1.50 crore

Arekepudi Gandhi is contesting for BRS from Serilingampalli. Asset worth: Rs 20 crore
