PM Modi may address farmer meeting during Telangana visit (Twitter)
HYDERABAD: The BJP on Tuesday sought action against TNGO and TGOU chiefs M. Rajender and V. Mamatha respectively, for allegedly campaigning for the TRS in the Munugode Assembly constituency byelection.
BJP general secretary G. Premender Reddy — in a letter to the chief secretary and principal secretaries of the medical health and family welfare, and the municipal administration departments — said that the duo’s actions violated service rules. He said that state government employees are prohibited from political activities.
Premender Reddy warned the government of starting an agitation if the duo was not suspended immediately.
