Congress cadre stages massive protest against BJP

Hyderabad: Congress activists, led by Hyderabad DCC president Sameer Waliullah, staged a protest against the BJP for likening AICC leader Rahul Gandhi to ‘new-age Ravan,’ and burnt an effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Chandrayangutta here on Sunday.

Speaking to the media, Waliullah said that the BJP's behaviour was highly condemnable. He said that BJP leaders were unable to digest the fact that Rahul Gandhi had emerged as the most popular leader in the country while Modi's popularity was declining due to his ineptness, arrogance and atrocious behaviour.

Waliullah alleged that the BJP is worried over reports of a swing in favour of Congress in the ensuing Assembly elections in Telangana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram. Hence, their desperate attempts to draw public attention. As part of the conspiracy, they have shared a poster on Rahul Gandhi which violates all norms of morality.
