N Lokesh slams K Chandrasekhar Rao's double standards

He said that Mr Rao asked the Telugu people to stand united, but on the other hand he provoked the Telanganites against the Andhras.

Vijaywada: AP minister for panchayatraj and IT, N. Lokesh, said that Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has dual policy towards the Andhra people.

He said that Mr Rao asked the Telugu people to stand united, but on the other hand he provoked the Telanganites against the Andhras. He said that Mr Rao had taken TD leaders into the TRS, which reflected his policy. He claimed that the TRS won the GHMC due to votes of the Andhra people, but the TRS was still spewing poison on them which was very objectionable.

Mr Lokesh said the MLAs who were with Mr Rao won their elections due to the votes of the Andhra people, which cannot be ignored but the TRS was still deceiving the public with Jago Bhago slogans, which was very sad. He said that there were many TD people in the TRS; hence Mr Rao should follow what he preached about all Telugus being one and treating all Telugus as equal.

AP finance minister Y. Ramakrishnudu said Mr Rao could not take major decisions as interim CM and opined that Mr Rao had opted for early elections due to increasing negativity against the TRS government among the Telangana people. He further opined Mr Rao was also eyeing Muslims votes which go to the Congress.
