KCR fears defeat, lying: Uttam Kumar Reddy
Karimnagar: TPCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy on Mon-day alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had begun lying as the people had begun disbelieving him. He said Mr Rao was afraid of defeat in the 2019 elections.
He said a TRS activist named Sravan had approached the court against regularisation of electricity department outsourcing employees. An advocate belonging to the TRS, Mr Satyam Reddy, had taken up the case. And yet, Mr Rao blamed the Congress for the court stay, he said.
“In the Singareni compnesatory jobs scheme, a person from Telangana Jagruthi approached court and the CM blamed the Congress,” he said. The TPCC chief said it had become routine for the government to go against the statute.
He was speaking at the hunger strike camp of party ex-MP Ponnam Prabhakar. The fast, which entered its third day on Monday, is to secure a medical college in Karimnagar.
