The government issued instructions to the officials to prepare for holding elections and number of personnel required for the purpose.

Kakinada: The state government is preparing to hold civic body elections such as municipalities and municipal corporations that have not been held for years together.

The government issued instructions to the officials to prepare for holding elections and number of personnel required for the purpose. The KMC officials submitted a report to the government that nearly 1,400 personnel are required for holding elections in 50 divisions and nearly 250 EVMs also are required.
