Sudha Murty contributes Rs 200 cr for Metro station
The government will sign an MoU with Infosys on July 19.
Bengaluru: The Infosys Foundation on Saturday contributed Rs 200 crore to BMRCL for the construction of Konappana Agrahara Metro station and Metro railway track.
Foundation chairperson Dr Sudha Murty met CM H.D. Kumaraswamy and handed over the cheque to BMRCL. The government will sign an MoU with Infosys on July 19.
Mr Kumaraswamy said, “Dr Sudha Murty is an inspiration to other corporate companies.” Dr Sudha Murty said, “We are happy that BMRCL has agreed to construct a station at Konappana Agrahara. The station will be maintained by Infosys for the next 30 years. Contributing our hard earned money to society gives us immense pleasure. We will continue to take up such initiatives in the future.”
