Priyanka will provide jobs to unemployed, says Thakre

HYDERABAD: Exuding confidence that the Congress is going to form the next government after the Assembly elections, AICC in-charge for Telangana Manikrao Thakre asserted that the party will fulfill its promises of providing employment opportunities to the youth in the state.

Thakre stated that Congress party national secretary Priyanka Gandhi will release the "Youth Declaration for Telangana" during her visit to Hyderabad on May 8, when she will participate at the 'Yuva Sangharshana Sabha' scheduled to be held at Saroor Nagar Indoor Stadium grounds. The "Youth Declaration for Telangana" is significant because it
intends to provide jobs to youths if the Congress party gains power in the state, he asserted. The BRS ruling government had failed to issue job notifications, while officials had failed to conduct exams efficiently, and the leaked TSPSC papers jeopardised the lives of thousands of job hopefuls.

"Priyanka Gandhi would extend support to the youth and the unemployed in providing jobs in Telangana. We assure you that we shall follow through on any commitments or promises made by the Congress party. After coming to power, the Congress party delivered on its promises in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh," Manikrao Thakre stated.

CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka stated that while the Congress party was in power at the Centre, Sonia Gandhi fulfilled the promise of separate statehood to Telangana, but the BRS government misled and deceived the youth of the state by promising jobs. "The government issued Group-I notifications, but the exams were not properly conducted. The TSPSC question papers were leaked, putting the lives of thousands of young people at jeopardy,” he remarked.

Further, Bhatti said that the BRS government reclaimed 10,000 acres of land in Ibrahimpatnam worth at Rs 5 lakh crore that the Congress party had handed to beneficiaries under the Indiramma Housing Scheme while it was in power.

He also chastised the ruling party for failing to provide job opportunities to the youth, while assuring them that the Congress party is going to fulfil its promises to give employment to the youth. "These promises will be fulfilled within six months of the Congress party coming to power in Telangana," he stated.

TPCC senior leader and former Rajya Sabha member V. Hanumantha Rao stated that the BRS government launched the Dharani portal, which failed in providing farmers with property ownership. There are numerous errors in the Dharani site, which the government deliberately made in order to engage in inland grabbing activities. He additionally urged the youth to join the 'Yuva Sangharshana Sabha', where Priyanka Gandhi would deliver the Youth Declaration on Monday.
