HMDA house-keeping staff demand higher wages

Mr Swamy requested the government rescue the workers from financial burden.

Hyderabad: Housekeeping employees working in Budda Purnima Project (BPP) of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) staged a dharna near Lumbini Park on Tuesday for demanding a hike in their salaries on par with the outsourced workers in the security wing.

Mr K. Kumara Swamy the president of BPP contract housekeeping workers union, requested the state government to increase the wages of housekeeping staff who were working for the last 15 years. He demanded the government to hike the wages on par with the security staff as per GO NO 14 released in 2016.

Mr Swamy requested the government rescue the workers from financial burden.
