B S Yeddyurappa passing the buck: Dr G Parameshwar

BJP should pressurise Centre on drought relief funds: Deputy CM.

Bengaluru: Coming down heavily on the BJP and its state president B.S. Yeddyurappa, Deputy CM Dr G. Parameshwar said that instead of putting pressure on the Centre to release drought relief funds, Yeddyurappa is passing the buck to the state government on drought relief.

He also condemned former MLA, Suresh Gowda for his remarks against Congress and JD(S) leaders of Tumakuru district. Mr Suresh Gowda had said that Congress and JD(S) workers had hatched a conspiracy to defeat former Prime Minister H.D. Devegowda, the JD(S) candidate, in Tumakuru. The BJP leaders are involved in a malicious campaign right from the start said Dr Parameshwar in Kalaburagi adding that Mr Deve Gowda will surely win from Tumakuru.

Criticising Kalaburgi Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate Dr Umesh Jadhav, Dr. G. Parameshwar termed him a ' traitor'.

He said, "Dr Jadhav ditched the Congress and joined the BJP, he is a conspirator and people will teach him a fitting lesson in the Lok Sabha elections."

The BJP stooped to a low level during the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. Party senior leaders made personal attack on Congress leaders.

The Prime Minister's remarks against former prime minister late Rajiv Gandhi itself exposes the ‘culture’ of the BJP, he said.
