Karnataka BJP unit lodges plaint against Andhra Pradesh officers

The said persons had allegedly demanded to reject the BJP in Karnataka stating that the BJP is a North Indian party.

VIJAYAWADA: BJP Karnataka unit on Monday lodged a complaint with Andhra Pradesh Governor, the Chief Election Commission and the Chief Electoral Officer of Karnataka urging to take suitable legal action against sponsored AP Non-Gazetted Officers’ Employees’ Association president P. Ashok Babu and eight others for instigation, criminal conspiracy and speech creating disharmony between people speaking two languages.

In the complaint, BJP Karnataka state secretary and MP Shobha Karandlaje said that P. Ashok Babu along with some others had landed in Bengaluru on May 6 with an aim to instigate Telugu voters, with Andhra Pradesh origin, against the BJP party, on the ground that Prime Minister Narendra Modi belongs to North India and that they belonged to South India.

The said persons had allegedly demanded to reject the BJP in Karnataka stating that the BJP is a North Indian party, thereby dividing the nation into two parts and further they had allegedly spoken against the BJP coming to power in Karnataka.
