Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa
Thanjavur: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa will campaign for 18 AIADMK candidates from three Cauvery delta districts at a rally to be held here on Sunday.
According to party sources, the CM who arrives at Tiruchy by air, hops to Thanjavur in a helicopter and addresses the rally at the corporation ground near new bus stand at 5 p.m.
After that she leaves for Tiruchy and flies to Chennai. Police have made elaborate bandobust arrangements. The venue has been decorated with huge cut outs of the Chief Minister and welcome arches.
Prominent candidates for whom the Chief Minister will campaign are R. Vaithilingam, state minister for Housing and urban development, R. Kamaraj,
