Vijayawada: The YSR Congress on Thursday alleged that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had made false promises and claims of Kapu reservations. He has “time and again cheated the Kapu community on numerous counts from quota to corporation to sub-plan and funds,” party spokesperson Perni Nani said.
Speaking mediapersons, he said Mr Naidu’s latest “cheating” of the community was to include the Kapus in the 5 per cent quota from the 10 per cent reservations given for the upper class poor, fully knowing well that he cannot do it.
“In the past too, he had announced that he had given reservations to the community,” Mr Nani said.
