Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has established a command control centre in Hyderabad to help candidates of the Prajakutami in tracking the expenditure and unethical practices of opposition candidates.

The TPCC has deployed teams to gather evidence of money distribution by leaders and workers of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, and then to  complain to the Election Commission. The TPCC is also tracking news channels to monitor the advertisements of political parties. TPCC treasurer Gudur Narayana Reddy is handling the command control centre.

Mr Gudur said, "Our centre is collecting evidences regarding unethical and illegal practices by TRS candidates. We have received many video clips where TRS leaders are distributing money to influence voters. We have also complained about a television advertisement run in a news channel that belongs to TRS leaders. The EC has immediately stopped it. We have lost trust in DGP Mahender Reddy and hence, started our own centre to stop the illegal practices of the TRS."
