It\'s fight between Kodangal people and KCR in elections: TPCC Chief

Hyderabad: Stating that the fight in the Assembly elections would be held between Kodangal people and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, the TPCC Chief A Revanth Reddy alleged that the ruling BRS party failed to fulfil their promises in terms of development in Kodangal and asked the people to pass mass resolutions to support Congress party in the Assembly elections.

Amidst light showers and activists slogans like Jai CM, the TPCC Chief proceeded to file nomination papers in Kodangal on Monday. Addressing the gathering, Revanth Reddy asked the activists to support Congress party in Assembly elections and to bring to power in the state. If the Congress party comes to power in Telangana, more development activities would take place in Kodangal.

Citing the Karnataka PCC Chief and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shiva Kumar role in bringing congress party into power in Karnataka, Revanth Reddy said Shiva Kumar played a key role in bringing Congress party into power in Karnataka and If the Kodangal people are supported to Congress in getting victory, Kodagal name would be popular in Delhi level.

"In the 2018 elections, the BRS party and K T Rama Rao, Chandrasekhar Rao promised to provide funds for Kodangal. After elections, the BRS party and leaders forgot the Kodangal and people. The BRS party promised to establish cement factories, junior colleges, degree colleges, Engineering colleges but no development activity was taking place," Revanth Reddy alleged.

The TPCC Chief said that he challenged the Chief Minister to come to Ambedkar statue in Kodangal to discuss election promises. But, the Chief Minister failed to respond. The government did not provide Krisna water, railway lines and national highway constructions.

"These elections will bring change in the lives of Kodangal people if the Congress party comes to power. Elections that will bring recognition to Kodangal in the face of the country. The Congress leaders are united to support Congress and the people in villages must unite to support the Congress party. If we split into groups and communities, we will collapse," Revanth Reddy said.

Congress should win in Kodangal with more majority than DK Shivakumar in Karnataka. Within two years of winning, Narayanapet Kodangal will get more funds. Mahbubnagar --Chincholi National Highway will be completed in a year. Special degree colleges for girls would come up and it is my responsibility to stand up for your self-respect," the TPCC chief said.
