CHENNAI: Actor-turned-politician Udhyanidhi Stalin, son of the DMK president M K Stalin, on Friday took charge of the new post in the party as youth wing secretary, and discussed with his wing functionaries the political situation and steps to strengthen the DMK's youth wing.
After a meeting with the youth wing state-level and district-level office-bearers, Udhyanidhi told reporters that he would soon undertake an extensive tour of Tamil Nadu. "I will strive to infuse fresh energy into the youth wing and I proposed to bring several changes to the youth wing," he said.
A fresh membership drive will also be initiated, added Udhayanidhi Stalin.
