Hubballi: Union minister Pralhad Joshi said the resignation of ruling party legislators is a drama being played by the co-ordination committee president Siddaramaiah to become CM  again. Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said the Congress leader will not succeed in his attempt. Stating that wrong move adopted by the former CM has led to desertion of  legislators, he said the BJP has nothing to do with these developments.

Insisting that the BJP was unwilling to “impose” another election on the people, he said his party will take the “right decision” if the coalition government collapses.  “We have not launched Operation Lotus. We would have made such an attempt well before when the government was formed. Siddaramaiah is not happy with the family politics of Deve Gowda. Therefore, he is doing all such drama as he does not want this coalition government to continue. But, there is no connection between the resignation of legislators and BJP”, Joshi said.
