Hyderabad: Congress MP A Revanth Reddy approached a local court for bail today, a day after his arrest for allegedly using a drone camera to take pictures of a farmhouse belonging to a prominent TRS leader.

The court posted his bail petition to Tuesday but granted bail to six others who were arrested in the same case.

The MP from Malkajgiri surrendered to the Narsingi police on Thursday and was arrested. He reportedly argued with the police for including his name in the case.

A day earlier, the police had arrested six persons -- P Praveenpal Reddy, M Jaipal Reddy, M Vijay Simha Reddy, D Rajesh, E Shiva, and Om Prakash – on the same charges.

The court at Rajendranagar granted bail to them but not to Revanth, whose petition will be heard on March 10.
