Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti working president K. T. Rama Rao on Wednesday said that the Federal Front would rule this country after the general elections.
He asked if people wanted Congress leaders who are “gulams (slaves) of Delhi” and do not care about the progress of Telangana state or they wanted the TRS’ Gulabi Sainikulu (pink soldiers) who fights till their last breath for Telangana state.
He said it was because the people of Telangana state have witnessed rapid development in the past four-and-a-half years that they re-elected Mr Chandrasekhar Rao. “The welfare schemes introduced by Chief Minister Rao helped the TRS register a resounding victory in the Assembly elections,” he said.
He said Karimnagar district would become a “water junction” and stressed on how special Karimnagar has been to Mr Rao and the TRS. “The entire country looked at Karimnagar when KCR started his agitation for separate Telangana state from the place,” he said.
