Congress campaigns against Secunderabad Cantonment Board voter card deletion

Hyderabad: Upping the ante on the Secunderabad Cantonment Board’s decision to delete voters who allegedly encroached upon government lands in the SCB limits, Congress unit of the Cantonment is taking up door-to-door campaign in affected areas and bastis.

Following the visit to Sai Baba Huts in ward-7 on Sunday, Congress leaders toured 108 Bazar falling under ward-5 on Tuesday.

They spoke to nearly 100 families living in the area and collected details like ID cards and related information from them.

Congress leader Krishank Manne said that nearly 250 voters live in 108 Bazar area. The next stop as part of the campaign is Adarsh Nagar in ward 8, he added.
