Kurnool: Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy held a meeting with his followers including District Congress party president Mr P. Lakshmi Reddy and key leaders of the party at his residence here on Wednesday. Mr Reddy said that he would bring to the notice of the Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu the need to complete Vedavathi, Gundrevula and LLC pipeline projects which will solve water crisis in the drought hit Adoni division.
Mr Reddy said, “The CM has promised me that these issues will be resolved. The Congress party leaders has humiliated me again and again and forced me out of the party.” He added that he had never said that he was leaving the party but the Congress leaders including PCC chief Mr Raghuveera Reddy had assumed this and had spoken about his exit from the party. Meanwhile, he dropped broad hints to his followers about leaving the Congress party and suggested that they join the ruling party for better political prospects.
