Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar rejected speculations about his party JD(U) getting closer to the BJP. Speculations about new political realignment were made after he had painted lotus during an event in Patna.
The Chief Minister who spoke for the first time about the controversy on Monday said, “I was invited to paint the picture drawn by an artist and had also put my signature on it.
You should ask organisers about the event as in my view this is a complete non- issue”. Nitish was was asked to paint a lotus drawn by an artist Baoua Devi at a book fair.
