Hyderabad: Caretaker minister T. Harish Rao on Wednesday alleged that Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu and former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal are planning to merge Telangana with AP. He also termed Mr Rajagopal as an agent of Mr Naidu
While addressing a meeting at Siddipet, Mr Harish Rao lashed out at Rajagopal for conducting a poll survey which he termed as a ‘joker’s survey’. Appealing to the people not to not fall for it, he said, “Lagadapati had predicted that Telangana was not going to be a reality, and announced a political exile, had it not happened, but we got Telangana and he took a political exile. This time he’s claiming that the TRS won’t win, after the TRS wins, he’s going to join the actual sanyasis.”
He said that Lagadapati, who sprayed pepper in Parliament against the formation of Telangana , cannot fool the people with his false surveys. He also said that the TPCC chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy will bite the dust in the Assembly election.
