Revanth's Statewide Campaign Begins Today

PCC chief to file nomination papers in Kamareddy on Nov. 10

Hyderabad: TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy will launch a state-wide campaign for the Assembly polls from Tuesday. He will campaign in 14 constituencies across districts in five days till November 11, using a helicopter to cover three constituencies each day. He will take a break for Diwali on November 12 and resume his campaign a day later.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are expected to campaign from November 16 to 28 in phases.

Revanth Reddy's campaign will begin with a darshan of the goddess at Jogulamba temple, Alampur, in Gadwal district. He will thereafter address public meetings in Alampur, Gadwal and Makthal.

On Wednesday, Reddy will address public meetings in Khanpur, Adilabad and Zaheerabad and on Thursday in Palakurthy, Secunderabad and Sanathnagar. Later, he will participate in a programme organised in the city to release the party's ‘Minority Declaration’, under which the party will declare about the welfare schemes and development programmes it will implement for minorities if voted to power.

On November 10, the PCC chief will visit Kamareddy constituency to file his nomination papers against Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao. This will be followed by the release of the party's ‘BC Declaration.’

The next day, he will address public meetings in Bellampally, Ramagundam and Dharmapuri.

The Gandhi scions will focus on Telangana, after campaigning ends in Madhya Pradesh on November 15, it is learnt.

Although the campaigning for Rajasthan Assembly polls concludes on November 23, party sources said the Gandhis will ensure that one of them covers Telangana between November 18 and 23 and both will focus on Telangana from November 24 to 28, the last day of campaigning.
