Congress hires helicopter for Revanth\'s campaigning across TS

Revanth to campaign in 70 constituencies in the next 20 days

Hyderabad: For the first time, the Congress has hired a helicopter for TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy to travel during his campaign across the state. He will use the helicopter from Monday when he visits the Kodangal constituency to file his nomination papers.

The party leadership has devised a hectic campaign schedule for Revanth Reddy. Party sources said he will cover two to three Assembly constituencies every day until November 28, when the campaign ends.

Revanth Reddy has been listed to campaign in 70 constituencies in the next 20 days, first covering the South Telangana area and then moving to the crucial North Telangana region. He has covered a few constituencies during his padayatra earlier.

Party sources said that this was the first time that the party hired a helicopter for the PCC president for campaigning. Earlier, PCC presidents were mostly confined to their home constituencies.

They hardly campaigned for candidates in other constituencies.

Given Revanth Reddy's huge popularity among the masses, there was a demand from candidates of all constituencies to hold at least one rally with Revanth Reddy in their constituencies. Due to a lack of adequate time to cover all constituencies by road, it was decided to hire a helicopter for the PCC chief.
