BS Yeddyurappa sees Congress government hand in party leader's death
Bengaluru: A day after party MP and former cabinet colleague, Shobha Karandlaje, accused urban development minister R Rohan Baig with involvement in the murder of RSS worker Rudresh, state BJP president B. S. Yeddyurappa charged the Congress government with involvement in the death of RSS worker, Magali Ravi, in Periyapatna. He told the media here on Saturday that like other RSS workers, Ravi was opposing Tipu Jayanti celebrations.
“To mask its failures, the Siddaramaiah government has decided to organise Tipu Jayanti celebrations. This is nothing but vote bank politics of the Congress government. As many as 140 pro-Hindu workers, including Rudresh, have been killed in the recent past. Now, another worker, Ravi, has been killed in Mysuru. These are the achievements of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah,” he charged.
The former chief minister said his party would a probe by a central agency into slaying of killing of RSS workers in the state. Besides, the party would soon organize a protest rally against the state government, added Mr Yeddyurappa.
