N Chandrababu Naidu conspires behind our back, says KCR
Hyderabad: TRS president and caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday said that any friendship or tie-up with TD supremo and AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu, who was involved in 'cash-for-vote' case to topple the TRS government, would not be possible in his lifetime.
“Chandrababu claims that he extended friendship to me but I was not reciprocating positvely. He talks sweetly and conspires in the back,” he said.
Mr Rao said Mr Naidu had adopted the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district for nine years during his tenure as CM of undivided AP, but had only laid foundation stones without taking up any work.
He also took a dig at Congress leader D.K. Aruna, saying that he would expose how she had colluded with Seemandhra leaders and compromised on the interests of the district when AP leaders diverted water by taking up illegal projects like Pothireddypadu and Handri Niva.
"Instead of opposing these illegal projects. Aruna for her petty minister;s post, surrendered to Seemandhra leaders and compromised on the interests of Palamuru and Telangana. She offered harathis to Seemandhra leaders and welcomed them to Palamuru to loot our water. We have all those videos which we will exhibit in each and every household of Gadwal and expose her before the public," Mr Rao said.
Mr Rao claimed that he kept his promise on Mission Bhagiratha that he will not seek votes if the project is not completed. “Mission Bhagiratha is 99 per cent complete. The rest will be completed by the polls and every household will receive purified tap water," he said.
