BRS reaches out to Rajaiah

It should be remembered that Rajaiah was the sole BRS MLA in the former Warangal district who was denied the party ticket by CM KCR

Hyderabad: Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, the Government Chief Whip and Warangal West MLA visited the house of Station Ghanpur MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah to soothe and persuade him not to leave the party after knowing that he is going to join the Congress in Hanamkonda on Tuesday.

It should be remembered that Rajaiah was the sole BRS MLA in the former Warangal district who was denied the party ticket by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, who instead chose his old opponent, MLC Kadiyam Srihari.
When MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy came to Rajaiah's house after rejecting a party ticket, Rajaiah showed little interest in meeting him. However, Rajeshwar Reddy met with Rajaiah supporters and assured them that a suitable post would be assigned to MLA Rajaiah.

On Monday, Rajaiah met Congress senior leader Raja Narasimha in private at a luxury hotel for more than 45 minutes. Later, in political circles, there was talk that Rajaiah would join the Congress during a gathering soon to be held under the Madiga Intellectual Forum in Station Ghanpur.

In light of this, MLA Vinay Bhaskar spoke with Rajaiah to persuade him not to leave the party. But he tried to claim that because some teacher union leaders invited him and MLA Rajaiah as chief guests to the Teachers' Day celebrations, he went to Rajaiah's house to accompany him and that there was nothing political about his meeting with Rajaiah.

MLA Rajaiah stated that he will attend any gatherings organised by the Madiga community. "The blood of the Madiga community is coursing through my veins." "I attended several meetings organised by MRPS founder president Manda Krishna Madiga, which is how I became an MLA," he explained.
