BJP hits back at Rahul's over wiped away' comment

HYDERABAD: Senior BJP leader N. Indrasena Reddy on Monday called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s declaration of BJP being wiped out from Telangana “nothing more than misplaced confidence and wishful thinking”.

Addressing a press conference, Indrasena Reddy said even if Congress joined hands with the AIMIM and the Left, it would still not win in Telangana. “It will be the BJP that will win, and it will be Congress that will find no place after the elections in the state,” he said, in response to Rahul Gandhi’s speech in New York.

He did not spare TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy either, saying that under Bandi Sanjay’s leadership, Congress did not even get back their deposits in the Assembly polls, referring to Revanth Reddy’s comments on Bandi Sanjay’s party management.

Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson N.V. Subhash said that Congress leaders never understood India’s ancient culture and traditions. “It has become a habit for Rahul Gandhi to denigrate and defame the country’s image whenever on his overseas trips,” he said.
