KCR front will help Modi: Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy
Hyderabad: CPI national general secretary Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy on Tuesday said Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s proposed front would prevent the unity of opposition parties and help Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to media in Delhi, Mr Suravaram described the proposed front as the BJP’s B team and that various political parties are not responding to the TRS chief’s call for anti-BJP and anti-Congress front.
He alleged that Mr Rao is forming the new front for the benefit of Mr Modi. Mr Suravaram asked if the proposed new front is against the BJP, why Mr Rao is not talking against him.
He said the Left parties are fighting on people’s issues with the Jana Sena, which is a likeminded party and his party is ready to ally with the YSRC, if the latter invites it unconditionally.
He said that the CPI has not taken any decision on alliances in TS and AP. He said a decision would taken before the elections.
