KT Rama Rao lays base for Viprahitha Brahmin Sadan

The government had allotted 6 acres of land at Gopanapally for the building which will be completed within a year.

Hyderabad: IT minister K.T. Rama Rao on Monday laid foundation for “Viprahitha Brahmin Sadan”, a multi-purpose building being built by the Telangana government to serve the needs of Brahmin community.

Brahmin Samkshema Parisha chairman and government advisor K.V. Ramana Chary was also present at the event. The government had allotted 6 acres of land at Gopanapally for the building which will be completed within a year.

Mr Rama Rao said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is on a mission to achieve social, educational, economic development and welfare of Brahmin community.

“KCR has a special bond with the Brahmin community. During his school days in Medak, he used to spent most of the time at his Brahmin guru’s house where he mastered poetry and oratory skills. He knows the problems faced by the Brahmins from poorer sections,” he said explaining the reason behind the construction of the building.
