Amit Shah: Rahul Gandhi inciting hatred

Bengaluru: Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah on Thursday accused Congress president Rahul Gandhi of inciting hatred through lies that the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act had been revoked.

Mr Shah tagged on Twitter a short video clip of Mr Gandhi’s speech at a poll rally in Karnataka where the Congress president is heard saying “atrocities against Dalits and tribals are rising and the SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act is revoked. Narendra Modiji does not say a word.” Hitting back, Mr Shah said “Lies and only Lies! See how Rahul Gandhi fictitiously revokes the SC/ST Act to incite hatred in society.”
