Hyderabad: The Congress is yet to come out of the shock of losing two of its MLAs to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti. Congress Legislative Party leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramar-ka on Tuesday demanded that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao give an explanation to the people of Telangana state for fielding a fifth candidate for the MLC polls without required strength in the Assembly.
Mr Bhatti said, “Mr Rao had decided to buy our MLAs. That is why he has fielded the fifth candidate. The Congress has strength to win an MLC seat.Will the issues of the constituencies be resolved only if the MLAs support TRS? It is shame that the TRS waited for the loyalty shift of MLAs to release water for Nagarjuna Sagar left canal.”
