Hyderabad: The Telangana state government has proposed merger of the Centrally-funded new Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and the state government’s own Rythu Bandhu scheme.

Meanwhile, the additional secretary in the Union agriculture department, Vasudha Misra, met Telangana Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi on Tuesday. Mr Joshi expressed his confidence that the state government would successfully implement the central government's PM Kisan scheme in the state.
