KAKINADA: Telugu Desam senior leader and Rajamahendravaram Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary on Saturday disclosed that Telugu Desam and Jana Sena are making efforts to finalise their candidates for the forthcoming elections.
Speaking to media in Rajamahendravaram, the senior TD MLA said the alliance partners are in the process of finalising the constituencies and candidates.
“Once the list is finalised, we will put it before the people,” he stated.
When asked whether any of the MLAs will be replaced, Buchaiah Chowdary remarked that the main thing is that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy needs to be replaced.
He pointed out that in 2019, there had been a sympathy wave for YSRC. There is no such situation now.
“People are now unhappy with the ruling party’s irregularities, corruption and the CM’s dictatorial rule,” the senior TD legislator remarked.
