Karimnagar: Former minister T. Harish Rao on Saturday said that former chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was recuperating from hip surgery and would come back to work very soon to be available for the people in the Telangana Bhavan from next month.
He was speaking at a preparatory meeting for Lok Sabha elections with party workers of the Peddapalli parliamentary segment on Saturday.
The BRS MLA said that the Congress government decided to remove the photos of KCR on the KCR Kits and schemes introduced by the BRS government, but it could not remove the indelible image of the BRS supremo from the hearts of the people.
Delivering a pep talk ahead of Lok Sabha polls, Harish said that BRS was not deterred by the attacks on party leaders and cadres by the Congress leaders after the change in guard in the state.
He demanded the government release Rythu Bandhu aid for farmers who had been waiting for it for rabi cultivation which has started across the state.
The defeat in the Assembly elections is just a speed-breaker for BRS, which will fight for the people as the opposition in a constructive way,” he said, adding that the BRS would win the Peddapalli LS seat again in the elections.
