V Hanumantha Rao hits out at K Chandrasekhar Rao doublespeak
Hyderabad: AICC secretary and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao said that if Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao called the ongoing RTC strike as illegal, then he should clarify under which Act the strikes were conducted by employees of different organizations, including the RTC, during the separate Telangana movement that he had spearheaded.
Speaking to the media on Monday he said that Mr Chandrasekhar Rao had no knowledge of the Constitution, and its provision. He said that for one who claimed that he read about 80,000 books, he should have read and understood the Constitution. He said that instead of ruling the State as the head of the family, he was behaving like a dictator. He said it was undemocratic to set a deadline for RTC workers to resume duty.
Mr Hanumantha Rao pointed out that so far 16 RTC employees had died. He urged the court to call the CM directly and seek details about the RTC strike.
