Vijayawada: Former minister and Telugu Desam MLC Dokka Manikyavaraprasad Rao alleged that the BJP was trying to create regional differences among people of AP and demanded an end to the conspiracy.
He demanded the BJP government to immediately sanction Kadapa steel factory and fulfil bifurcation promises. He insisted that the bifurcation promises were constitutional rights of Andhra people which the BJP government has failed to honour and has been cheating the state.
Claiming that the TD government has been working to ensure the development of Rayala-seema, he challenged the BJP leaders to have a pu-blic debate on the issue.
Guntur district TD president and Vinukonda MLA G.V. Aanjaneyulu claimed that the TD government had been helping unemployed youth through CM Yuva Nestam scheme. The YSRC president and Opposi-tion leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has been levelling false allegations to defame the TD about the scheme. He claimed that the TD government filled thousands of vacant posts over the past four years but the YSRC has been misleading the public with its allegations.
He claimed that there was a hidden pact between the BJP and Mr Jagan where the YSRC would help the BJP AP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana.
Refuting the claims of BJP MLC Somu Veerraju of TD winning only 30 seats in the forthcoming elections, Mr Aanjaneyulu claimed that the TD will win 140 seats and challenged the BJP to bet with him on the same.
