Jagan, Pawan instigating people: N Chinarajappa

Reacting to a question during a media conference here, Mr Chinarajappa downplayed the note-for-vote' case, insi-sting that it was an old isuue.

Nellore: Home minister N. Chinarajappa on Thursday criticised YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan for their remarks against the TD government.

Claiming that the two leaders were trying to instigate people with their speeches, the home minister advised the people not to put much tr-ust in such intentionally misleading statements.

Reacting to a question during a media conference here, Mr Chinarajappa downplayed the ‘note-for-vote’ case, insisting that it was an old isuue.

He expressed confidence that the TD would emerge victorious in 2019 elections.

Earlier, taking part in a passing out parade of the first batch of jail wardens trained by the prisons department at Nellore, he advised the wardens to follow orders of their superiors and enhance the reputation of the government with their attitude.

Urban development minister P. Narayana, DGP R.P. Thakur and prisons department IG Vinay Ranjan Ray were present with the home minister.
