No tie up with Jana Sena: YSR Congress Party

The YSRC leaders and also the Prashant Kishor team have dismissed them as rumours.

Vijayawada: The Prashant Kishor team has dismissed the news being spread in regional broadcast media that the YSRC is planning to have a tie up with the Jana sena. Since morning, a few TV channels have been posting breaking news with visuals, stating that there has been a primary understanding between Pawan Kalyan and Jagan Mohan Reddy about the possible alliance, in 2019. However, the YSRC has dismissed the news as rumours.

It was reported that Jana Sena chief has demanded the post of deputy CM and some ministerial berths if the alliance were to win and Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has reportedly agreed. By showing the common agenda of Pawan Kalyan and Jagan Mohan Reddy on special status being awarded to AP and various aspects related to the state’s development, the channels have run the breaking news in three to four bulletins.

However, the YSRC leaders and also the Prashant Kishor team have dismissed them as rumours. “As such Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy has no plans of an alliance. Not just with Jana Sena, but also with any other political party,” a senior YSRC leader has clarified and added that it is too early to arrive to conclusions about the alliances and also about power sharing.
